Given the role of a CM as agent and trusted advisor for the owner, it is imperative that the CM be involved with addressing the macro causal factors of bad projects in a proactive fashion with the owner prior to the initiation of any project and when involved on a project that is heading south be a part of the solutions to right the ship by jointly working with the owner, A/E and contractor to resolve the key issues impacting the project.
