Directions
This seminar is intended to be the first in a series of presentations on project planning and schedule control. It will set the stage for more in-depth discussion of specific technical subjects of interest which will range from the basic essentials through more complex topics such as risk assessment, acceleration, time delay impact proof and schedule delay analyses. Both pre-construction and construction phases will be addressed. Emphasis will be on effective schedule control theory and best practices and the subordinate role of scheduling software applications.
The seminar will provide: 1) an overview for the understanding of both fundamental and advanced construction planning and scheduling best practices; 2) a framework for continuing discussion, training and schedule control process improvement; 3)access for early career CMs to senior colleagues with substantial experience and expertise in diverse applications of construction planning and schedule control.
